Not enough people are talking about how we’re now in the thick of winter (plus the post-holiday blues), and getting dressed might be kind of tough. With the dropping temps, we need to dust off…
This year, I’m really excited for casual denim on denim looks paired with studded belts and shoes. I also love a denim shirt with western details. I also recently got this fringe jacket and cannot wait to wear it more on its own (once it’s not bundling season).
There is truly nothing I cherish more than our weekends. I love waking up whenever we feel like it, get ready and go for a long walk to pick up coffee and then head to Central Park with Sal.
The easiest outfit formula for me is layers. I usually opt for a cashmere sweater (with a long sleeve tee under) paired with these pants from Frame. I actually cannot believe how much wear I’ve gotten out of these pants. They are INCREDIBLE, and I really love the way they look with pretty much every shoe I own — especially boots.
These uniforms can be taken literally or just have fun picking bits and pieces from them based on what I’m feeling that particular day.
This is a pretty standard outfit for me. I like feeling put together when I’m out and about, but don’t think it’s necessary to put too much thought into. During the winter, more layers are involved so I can have a bit more fun with beanies and scarves. Otherwise, I let either my earrings or jewelry pull this simple outfit together.
You could make it preppy with a button down tucked in. You could make it edgy with an oversized moto jacket. You could make it cool with a sweater. You could make it tonal and effortless with a white tank (option to throw denim jacket on too).
